Catacombs

(((A/N: T_T omg I can't believe I just killed my two peppy charries. I hate myself at the moment for this.)))
Akasha looked around the room, hating how white everything was. Colorless, much like his life had been the past few months. Usually he didn’t mind, but gah, it just felt so wrong. Violet hues caught sight of golden eyes looking not at him as they had a few months ago, but at another. A growl escaped his tiny body before he could stop it. He almost bit into the hand that touched his shoulder. He paused as a dirty blonde male stared back at him with a knowing expression. Crap, did the other recognize him? Looking around the other guest quickly, he grabbed the male’s hand dragging him away from the ceremony.

“Who are you?” He hissed, his gaze narrowing as his fangs reacted to his anger. The human didn’t seem fazed, instead he looked rather comfortable.

“My name is Teal. Wanna go have fun?” Akasha let out a squeak of surprise as the slightly taller male leaned down to put his face in front of Akasha’s. Akasha could see why he was called teal. The male’s eyes were the most beautiful teal color, shining with mischief.

A smirk graced Akasha’s features, usually meaning something bad was going to happen.

“Sure, let’s go have some fun.” Grabbing the male bridal style, Akasha ran through the woods towards the cemetery. It didn’t take very long, and by the time they stopped the moon had shifted barely a fraction of an inch.

“Figures you would bring us here. I mean, I had my suspicion….Oh who am I kidding this is going to be so much fun. You are so much prettier in person by the way.” Akasha smiled striking a random pose, giggling as the other laughed at him. “C’mon mister dramatic.”

Akasha allowed the human to drag him towards the church like building. It was only then that he noticed the wind blowing, chilling the air around them. Birds crowed at them to stay away, which they ignored both giggling like mad men. They stopped at the cast iron door, having the briefest moments of hesitation before opening the door. Akasha peered inside, his night vision picking nothing up. Slipping into the dark building, both of them went towards the back instantly. Akasha slipped between the pews with ease, starting when Teal let out a yelp of pain. Spinning around, he sighed as he realized the other had just run into a wall.

“Humans are so child like. Teal, grab my hand.” Akasha smirked when the other jumped as his voice ghosted into Teal’s ear. Akasha watched as the waist length locks bounced in a quick short nod and warmth enveloped his hand, fingers lacing through his. “You’re so warm.” He muttered in amazement.

“Yeah and you are like ice water, now lead the way Kitty.”

“Why’d you call me kitty?” Akasha asked as he made his way through the pews and towards the back door.

“Because you can see in the dark like a cat and you have the grace of a cat. All in all you remind me of a cat, so you’re nickname from me is Kitty.” Akasha shook his head in amusement, noticing the rapid heartbeat of the human. He briefly wondered how much sneaking around the younger male had done. He paused; about to ask only to let out a yelp of surprise as a hoard of bats flew at them. Arms wrapped around his waist, picking him up off the floor, causing Akasha to squeal in surprise again.

“Ride on my back.” Blinking in confusion but following the others orders, he shuffled so he was piggyback style on Teal. “Alright, tell me where to go.”

“Go forward and then righ~” A loud crack resound through the empty building, seeming to come from everywhere. Teal began to back up when the ground shifted violently beneath them before giving out. A scream tore from their throats as they plummeted down hitting the ground with a sickening thud.

Akasha gasped in pain as his bones snapped from the force of the fall. His vision blurred as he rolled on the floor, spotting Teal a few feet from him. He knew the human was dead even without the sound of his pulse. Coughing up blood, Akasha made it to his hands and knees so he could look around.

Blood, bones, and skulls lined the walls and floor. It reminded him of the pit of someone’s stomach minus the stomach acid. Groaning aloud in pain as he stood, Akasha made his way over to Teal’s body. He had to drink blood and as much as he hated taking from his new found friend, he was sure the other wouldn’t mind. As he brushed blonde locks out of teal hues, Akasha grimaced. Why hadn’t he seen the faint pulse?

“Hey…where are….we? ….I…..I have…..a….gig…tom…tomorr….tomorrow.” Akasha smiled weakly, hiding his tears as blood trickled from the human’s mouth.

“You play an instrument?” He questioned, hoping to take the pain from dying. He would end it quickly for his friend.

“I…. pl….ay the…… gui….tar for the Psy….chotic Ang….el.” Akasha’s gaze widened in shock surprised about not recognizing him. He knew the band. They played everything, from black metal to old folk music. It didn’t matter from what country since they travelled the world. “Hey….. I kn….ow I’m…. not go….ing to last….. ve….ry long….. so just….. hurry… and kill…. me…….. please.”

Akasha felt the tears stream down his face as he nodded. He leaned in close, his fangs lengthening as he bit into the soft flesh. Blood caressed over his tongue causing him to moan. His bones began to fix themselves, a bit painful, and his skin nit back together. He pulled back when the other was dead, a remorseful smile on his lips. He closed the teal hues, wishing the other peace in the afterlife.

A roar echoed through the stone building shattering many of the bones on the ground and wall. Akasha hissed, crouching in a defensive position as his violet hues scanned the area. Nothing, so what had made that god-awful sound?

Pain burst from his side as the Earth decided to flip on its side. He could feel and smell the blood as it flew through the air. His body skipped across the ground much as a rock would across water. His limbs refused to move indicating something had happened to his spinal cord, yet he could feel the pain all over his body.

“You think to come rob this grave, eh?” hot breath pressed against his cheek and all he could do was close his eyes letting out a choked scream as something pierced through his chest. He never felt the sharp pearly whites that tore through his skin in the next instant.
